Volunteering
Saturday morning I have to go to work, which obviously sucks butt. But Saturday afternoon I'm volunteering for a local senate campaign, which is cool. In fact, I got offered a job contingent on whether the guy I'm helping wins a senate seat. But chances are I probably won't accept (because it hasn't even been a year with my current firm). [side note: I just noticed that there's an ant in my coffee as I'm writing this]. Volunteering should make election night interesting. Instead of watching other campaign volunteers on TV watching TV themselves to find out the results, I'll be able to actually experience the thrill of finding out what happens to a race that I was tangentially involved with.

Oh man, and who would want to suck a butt an a Saturday?!? BTW: Is that a senate seat for the Hawaiian legislature?
ah~ the wonders of being involved with politics.

it'd be kinda cool to work in politics, though, duncha think? ( ^^)
Who're you helping? I've promised myself (and my family) I am only helping ONE person this year.
