  • Cloverfield

I just got back from seeing a late showing of “Cloverfield.”  It was AWESOME.  Don’t watch it if the cinematography of the Blair Witch Project made you sick.  Otherwise, it’s a thrilling and scary monster movie for our generation.

But this blog isn’t really about the main feature.  What was even better than the film itself was the TEASER TRAILER FOR STAR TREK.  They just gave us a small taste of what it might be like, but I’m thoroughly hooked already!! I think I already know what my number one movie for 2008 will be. hahaha.

  • Very funny… I just came from reading reviews of Cloverfield,
(sounds terrible) because my Sam saw it tonite too.

  • no moster movies for me- but the new star trek- thumbs up! even if it’s bad, it’ll be good! :)

  • i forgot to tell you– train man was so good!  thanks for the recommend!

don’t know if i’d like cloverfield… saw a warning that it has effects that could lead to motion sickness and i am not up for that.

  • yeah the new star trek should be interesting. I wonder what kind of uniforms they’ll be wearing?

  • i wish i could believe sung kang could break thru but i doubt that it will happen for him. he has the ability and the talent and even the personality, but i don’t think those who are looking for a breakthru actor consider him. have you seen shanghai kiss? the male lead in that talks about breaking thru in hollywood. it feels real!

  • i read an interview with him that said that he can’t afford to be too picky bc there just aren’t that many roles offered to him, but once in a while he’s offered a role that thrills him and the role in the motel was one of those roles.

  • john cho… another ‘better luck tomorrow” star. he may indeed be the breakthru person. :)

  • From the very first teasers of Cloverfield, I thought, “Why is someone making Godzilla meets Blair Witch Project?” AGH! As for Star Trek, that was a hot teaser! Maybe Lost man, J.J. Abrams can pull it off?
