Cell Phones
I need a new cell phone because I can't hear the person on the other end of the connection. The only way I can hear them is if I switch to speaker-phone mode, which makes private conversations impossible (unless I'm alone). My cell phone history is as follows. I got my first cell phone in 2001 and since then I've gone through four including the one I have now. My favorite was the Razr, which I used mostly during law school. My least favorite is the Pebble, which I'm using now.
I'm thinking of a Blackberry or something similar that makes it easy to email and surf the Net. Any suggestions? What has been you favorite cell phone so far?

phones from O2 seems nice...
i am the wrong person to ask bc i hate all the phones i've had. i did see a sweet LG Vu (like the prada) but it's not available in the states... like an iphone only w/o the bugginess, windows based, icon based, sleek black and slim, video/music, nice size screen, etc. altell has this thing called the H touch that i drooled over, but if i can wait for the vu, i will!
mine is the razr. i let the trolls at tmobile talk me into switching to the rizr, which is ok but i still got love for the razr. i hate being over-accessible so i'm the wrong person to ask about the blackberry and what not. however, the iphone is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.
Go look at my snow pics on 'MyFace". You will love your life...
working cell phone, or not!
my fav is my current phone Sony Ericsson w810i; a candybar music/cameraphone. i had clamshell lg's and samsung's in the past 7 yrs, but batt life sucked, photo quality sucked, voice quality sucked, no storage space, etc, list of complaints were long. SE is decent in all those categories so far, and i've had it for a year now. happy. but i don't do much surfing with it, so i don't know how easy that would be.
i'm looking at nokia n95 8gb as a possible next choice. supposed to be real good on battery life, decent UI, fast surfing and dl-ing. works on pretty much all bands, 3G network. i don't know its availability outside of the continental US though. and it's a bit pricey. i suppose a good alternative would be the phone of choice for all lemmings, the iPhone, which you can get for a bit cheaper with contract.
What plan do you use? I think your service depends on your company too.
I have to say, despite the high prices, the iPhone is pretty nifty. Plus, now they have GPS? That's pretty awesome.
